Mobile Work Arrangements

Mobile working—which means working from an alternative worksite, such as your home, on a regular basis—helps REI keep its competitive edge while giving you more flexibility. Mobile work arrangements range in frequency and form (full day or partial day). If you’re interested in a mobile work arrangement, check out REI’s mobile work policy and guidelines.

Commuter Benefit

As committed stewards of the environment, we want to reduce our carbon footprint by decreasing the number of cars on the road and in parking lots. That’s why we offer a 100% pre-tax subsidy on public transit expenses, including bus, train, vanpool and ferry, up to the IRS limit ($280) through payroll deduction. We also offer pre-tax parking for employees who work at locations with limited commuting options. Parking elections are not subsidized by REI.
