Hybrid Work at REI

Hybrid work at REI is a blended model where employees work across multiple locations such as home, co-working spaces and REI sites. It’s about balancing flexibility for individuals with consistency in how we work and clarity in expectations across teams — so we can stay connected, focused and trailblazing.

Thinking about working toward the completion of a college degree? Let REI help with our tuition reimbursement program, REACH. This program provides you with financial support—up to $1,500 for undergraduate degrees and certificate programs and $3,000 for graduate education per year—to complete approved higher educational degrees that relate to our business and your current or future role at REI.

As committed stewards of the environment, we want to reduce our carbon footprint by decreasing the number of cars on the road and in parking lots. That’s why we offer a 100% pre-tax subsidy on public transit expenses, including bus, train, vanpool and ferry, up to the IRS limit ($325) through payroll deduction. We also offer pre-tax parking for employees who work at locations with limited commuting options. Parking elections are not subsidized by REI.
