Open Enrollment

Benefits Open Enrollment is the one opportunity each year to make changes to your benefits. Any changes you make during enrollment are effective January 1–December 31, 2025.

Reminder! Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) will not roll over into 2025. You need to take action if you would like to enroll in a Health Care, Limited-Use or Dependent Care FSA for 2025.

2024 elections for medical, dental and vision coverage and Life, Accident and Disability Insurances will roll over into 2025. This includes your Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution if you are enrolled in the REI Saver Medical Plan.

View Your Current Benefit Elections

Already enrolled in REI benefits? Follow these steps to review your current benefit elections:

Go to hr.REI.com. If prompted to log in, enter your REI username and password.
- If you have not been issued an REI device (laptop or mobile phone) or you are not using a breakroom computer, you will need to sign in using your special Employee Self Service login.
- The username of this account will be your primary username + “.ess” (i.e., username.ess).
- Contact the Service Desk at 1-800-999-4734, option 3 or email helpdesk@rei.com if you need assistance or need to reset your password.
Select Home at the top left-hand corner. Click the Myself tab > Benefits > Benefits Summary to view your benefit elections.

Enrolling in Coverage for 2025

Have you reviewed plan changes for 2025 and are ready to update your coverage? Follow the steps below:

Go to hr.REI.com. If prompted to log in, enter your REI username and password.
- If you have not been issued an REI device (laptop or mobile phone) or you are not using a breakroom computer, you will need to sign in using your special Employee Self Service login.
- The username of this account will be your primary username + “.ess” (example: username.ess).
- Contact the Service Desk at 1-800-999-4734, option 3 or email helpdesk@rei.com if you need assistance or need to reset your password.
Select Home at the top left-hand corner. Click the Myself tab > Open Enrollment.
The system will walk you through your options. You must make an election for each benefit before confirming and submitting your elections.
- Be sure to have Social Security numbers and dates of birth on hand for your family members if you plan to enroll them in health coverage.
When you’re ready, submit your choices and print your confirmation statement for your records.
